SEO – SEM Specialist

Opening for SEO/ SEM Specialist in Kolkata with eexperience of 2 to 3 years.

Desired Profile
Experience in website development, competitive analysis, keyword research, link building, social media marketing, on-page optimization, and web analytics. Advanced understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms, and information retrieval principles and philosophies.

Knowledge of several areas of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) including: Search Engine Optimization (SEO), keyword analysis, pay per-click (PPC) required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively approach potential partner sites, as well as communicate SEO trends and interact with cross functional teams to ensure implementation. Must have very strong written English background and experience.

Must have experience optimizing large websites with complicated publishing platforms with multiple coding techniques and languages.

Job Description
The candidate’s core responsibility will be to support our SEO team in increasing organic traffic to our web properties. This includes project creation, link building, on-page optimization, analytics, and keyword research, among other SEO duties. Additional duties and responsibilities could include:

Manage client’s website / PPC campaign, organic promotion etc. Perform on-page optimization, including title tag optimization, meta tag optimization, and body copy (for both search engines and conversion rate).

Use analytics tools (Coremetrics, Google Analytics) to monitor various metrics.

Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to improve ranking/performance of websites. Conduct link building in a competitive vertical.

Monitor online campaigns regularly and make recommendations to improve performance metrics.

Utilize Social Media Marketing methods to drive traffic and links to company’s web properties.

Discover vendors/websites with which to collaborate that will deliver the highest quality product and stay true to the vision of the SEO team.

Monitor SEO & online marketing blogs for changes and new happenings in the search industry. Keep current on the latest trends in the search marketing industry
